There are 12 months in a year and so we have

m=12t
\therefore t=(m)/(12)
V(m)=1300(0.61)^{(m)/(12)}

which can be written as

V(m)=1300((0.61)^{(1)/(12)})^m
V(m)=1300(0.9596)^m

which is our answer and it is the third choice in the column.
