5x - 6 + 3x + 16 + x + 8 = 180

Rearrange

5x + 3x + x - 6 + 16 + 8 = 180

9x + 18 = 180

subtract 18 from both-side of the equation

9x = 180 -18

9x = 162

Divide both-side of the equation by 9

x = 18
