So we need to find:

(7)/(10)+2.6

If we want to express it as a simple fraction we need both terms to be expressed like fractions so let's take 2.6 and turn it into a fraction with 10 as the divisor:

2.6=2.6\cdot(10)/(10)=(2.6\cdot10)/(10)=(26)/(10)

Where I use the fact that 10/10 equals 1 so I could "make it apear" multiplying 2.6. Now we write and solve our quotient:

\begin{gathered} (7)/(10)+2.6=(7)/(10)+(26)/(10) \\ (7)/(10)+(26)/(10)=(7+26)/(10)=(33)/(10) \end{gathered}

So the answer is 33/10
