Parallel lines are equidistant lines that can never meet;

We have four lines in the figure above;

p is a transversal line;

k and l are parallel lines because they can never meet.

A.

Hence, the line parallel to line l is line k.

B.

Since, line l and line k are parallel lines, line k can be obtained by translating line l.

C.

Since line m is not as parallel as line l and line k, line p can be obtained by rotating line m.
