The given triangle is a right angle triangle. Taking angle E as the reference angle,

hypotenuse = EF = x

Adjacent side = GE = 71

To find EF, we would apply the cosine trigonometric ratio which is expressed as

Cos# = adjacent side/hypotenuse

# = 6 degrees

Thus,

Cos 6 = 71/EF

EFCos 6 = 71

EF = 71/Cos 6 = 71/0.9945

EF = 71.39

Rounding to the nearest tenth,

EF = 71.4 feet
