If f and g are parallel, we can say that

Now we know all the angles, we say that

3x+7x+20=180\degree

Because:

Therefore we just have to solve it for x now

\begin{gathered} 3x+7x+20=180 \\ \\ 10x=180-20 \\ \\ x=(160)/(10) \\ \\ x=16 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of x is 16
