to find out how many notepads they have we need to multiplicate the number of packages for the number of notepads the package has. so

they bought:

-5 packages of 24 (5*24=120 notepads)

- 15 packages of 6 (15*6=90 notepads)

So the number of notepads they bought was: 120+90= 210 notepads

they needed at least 200 so the answer is:

Yes, they have enough notepads.

6b.

you can see the only difference between the options it's the sign, so they need at least 200, which means 200 or more. we use the 'greater than or equal to' symbol.

so the answer is:


24x+6y\ge200
