So I think I know how to do this but tell me if I’m wrong so, 2x+45 and then it’s verticals angle is the same thing so it’s the same, then it’s same side with x so it’s whatever 2x+45 is solved? If I’m wrong then please explain how to do this

Since the two lines in the figure are parallel, due to interior angles theorem, it follows:

\begin{gathered} x+2x+45=180 \\ 3x=180-45 \\ 3x=135 \\ x=(135)/(3) \\ x=45 \end{gathered}

So the value of x is 45.
