Let:

x = number of watermelons

y = number of cantaloupes

so:

4x+2y=16

Let's find all values using the previous equation:

\begin{gathered} 4(4)+2a=16 \\ 16+2a=16 \\ solve_{\text{ }}for_{\text{ }}a\colon \\ 2a=0 \\ a=(0)/(2) \\ a=0 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 4b+2(2)=16 \\ 4b+4=16 \\ solve_{\text{ }}for_{\text{ }}b\colon \\ 4b=12 \\ b=(12)/(4) \\ b=3 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 4(2)+2c=16 \\ 8+2c=8 \\ 2c=8 \\ c=(8)/(2) \\ c=4 \end{gathered}
