To determine wheather the given points are the solution of the equation are or not

We susbtitute the given points on the equation and check wheather they satisfy are not

A) (2, 3)

Given equation : 7x+6y=23

Put x =2, y =3

7(2)+6(3)=23

14+18=23

32 =23

LHS is not equal to RHS

So, (2,3) is not the solution of 7x+6y=23

B) (0, -4)

put x =0, y =-4 in the given equation

7x+6y=23

7(0)+6(-4)=23

0-24=23

LHS is not equal to RHS

So, (0, -4) is not the solution of 7x+6y=23

C) (5,-2)

Put x =5, y =-2 in the given equation

7x+6y=23

7(5)+6(-2)=23

35-12=23

23=23

LHS = RHS

So, (5,-2) is the solution of 7x+6y=23

D) (4,-1)

Put x =4 and y =-1 in the given equation

7x+6y=23

7(4)+6(-1)=23

12-6=23

6=23

LHS is not equal to RHS

So, (4,-1) is not the solution of 7x+6y=23
