Prove that 8 is a factor of 16.

The factors of a number are which when multiplied by integer result in original number. So factors of number 16 are,


16=1,2,4,8\text{ and 16}

The number 16 can be expressed as the product of 8.


16=8*2

Thus, it is proved that 8 is factor of 16.
