Answer:

4x³ - 13x + 6

Explanation:

(2x - 1)(2x² + x - 6)

each term in the second factor is multiplied by each term in the first factor , that is

2x(2x² + x - 6) - 1 (2x² + x - 6) ← distribute both parenthesis

= 4x³ + 2x² - 12x - 2x² - x + 6 ← collect like terms

= 4x³ - 13x + 6

(2x-1)(2x^2\text{ + x - 6)}

Applying the distributive property of the product:

\begin{gathered} 4x^3+2x^2-12x-2x^2\text{ -x + 6} \\ 4x^3\text{ -13x + 6} \end{gathered}
