1/16

1) Since the expression is:

(4^2)/(4^4)

2) Let's evaluate that, using exponents' properties:

(4^2)/(4^4)=4^(2-4)=4^(-2)=((1)/(4))^2=(1)/(16)

So we need to repeat the base and subtract their exponents and then operate it, a negative exponent is equal to the reciprocal number raised by its positive exponent.
