Given the expression:

(3x-4y^2)(3x+4y^2)

From the difference of squares identity:

(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2

From the problem, we identify:

\begin{gathered} a=3x \\ b=4y^2 \end{gathered}

Finally, using the identity:

\begin{gathered} (3x-4y^2)(3x+4y^2)=(3x)^2-(4y^2)^2 \\ \\ \therefore9x^2-16x^4 \end{gathered}
