we have the equation of the line

y-4=-7(x+1)

This is the equation in point-slope form

Convert the given equation to standard form

Ax+By=C

where

A is a positive integer

B and C are integers

so

y-4=-7(x+1)

apply distributive property right side

y-4=-7x-7

y=-7x-7+4

y=-7x-3

7x+y=-3 ----> standard form
