Using the values, determine if y is a function of x(7,2) (4,-3) (5,-4) (1,4) (3,8)So I want to know is y not a function of xIs y a function of x, and the function is one-to-oneIs y a function of x, but the function is not one-to-one

Answer is yes, y is a function of x

Reason, there is only one input with a unique output ( each x value is unique, it is not repeated) so it will pass the vertical line test.

The function is NoT proportional, the ratio is not the same from x,y to x,y so it’s not one to one. See my attachment.
