A ratio 3:4 means:

(x)/(y)=(3)/(4)

Substituting with the values of the first table, we get:

\begin{gathered} (x_1)/(y_1)=(6)/(8)=(3)/(4) \\ \frac{x_2_{}}{y_2}=(7.5)/(10)=(3)/(4) \\ (x_3)/(y_3)=(9)/(12)=(3)/(4) \end{gathered}

Then, the ratio between x and y in table A is 3:4
