f(x)=3x-1

Evaluate the function in x=-2

\begin{gathered} f(-2)=3\cdot(-2)-1 \\ f(-2)=-6-1 \\ f(-2)=-7 \end{gathered}

g(x)=-x+6

Evaluate the function in x=5

\begin{gathered} g(5)=-5+6 \\ g(5)=1 \end{gathered}

Add these values

f(-2)+g(5)=-7+1=-6

The answer is -6
