Given:

$\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^2-6x+8 \\ g(x)=x-2 \end{gathered}$
f(x)=g(x)

$\begin{gathered} x^2-6x+8=x-2 \\ x^2-6x-x+8+2=0 \\ x^2-7x+10=0 \\ (x-5)(x-2)=0 \\ x=2,5 \end{gathered}$
