Help please im so lost with this (30 points) Sketch and label a diagram and then find the missing length: -Find the diagonal of a square whose side is 10cm long.

Given data:

The given side of the square is a=10 cm.

The expression for the diagonal of the square is,


\begin{gathered} d=\sqrt[]{a^2+a^2} \\ =a\sqrt[]{2} \end{gathered}

Substitute the given values in the above expression.


\begin{gathered} d=(10\text{ cm)}\sqrt[]{2} \\ =14.14\text{ cm} \end{gathered}

Thus, the length of the diagonal of the square is 14.14 cm.
