Use the following formula for the current I through a circuit with a resistance R and a voltage V (or in this case an emf):

I=(V)/(R)

where,

V: emf = 6.3V

R: resistance = 2Ω

Replace the previous values of the parameters into the formula for I and simplify:

I=(6.3V)/(2\Omega)\approx3.2A

The current throught the resistor is approximately 3.2A
