2. Weigh on the balance the necessary amount of copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate.

3. Add the required amount of distilled water and stir with a glass rod.

4. Using a funnel, transfer the solution to a volumetric flask and make up to the mark with distilled water.

5. Stopper the flask and shake to homogenize the solution.
