x =4, y=23/3

x=5, y = 9

x=6, y = 31/3

1) Given the equation 4x=3y-7 let's pug into that when x=4, 5 and 6

4x=3y-7

4(4) =3y-7

16 =3y -7 Add 7 to both sides

16+7= 3y

23=3y

y=23/3

2) Plug x=5 into that

4x=3y-7

4(5)=3y-7

20 =3y-7 Add 7 to both sides

27= 3y Divide both sides by 3

9 =y Flip it

y=9

3) Plug x=6 into that

4x=3y-7

4(6) = 3y- 7 Add 7 to both sides

24 +7= 3y

31 = 3y Divide both sides by 3

y=31/3

So the answers are:

x =4, y=23/3

x=5, y = 9

x=6, y = 31/3
