1.SARS-CoV-2 is brought into the body through the mouse or nose (Virus entry to the body)
2. The virus uses protein spikes to bind to specific receptors on a human cell (virus entry to the cell)
3. The RNA from the virus is released into the human cell (virus entry to the cell)
4. The human cells ribosome will translate the viral RNA into proteins including RNA polymerase (translation to produce the virus machinery)
5. The viral RNA is transcribed into more copies that are then translated into more proteins and more complete strands of viral RNA (replication)
6. Viruses travel to the surface of the human cell and are released outside the cell
7. The proteins and RNA use the cells membrane to form a new virus
