What is the domain of f(x)=x/x+4 and how do I explain it?

We will have the following:

We are given the expression:


f(x)=(x)/(x+4)

From this we can see that the domain is all of the number except x = -4.

The reason is that if x = -4 the function will be undefined since we will have a value divided by 0.
