The predicted sales in 2012 = $110,000

The equation for the predicted sales: S = $5000x + 80,000

When x = 0, year = 2006

when x = 1, year = 2007

when x = 2, year = 2008

when x = 3, year = 2009

when x = 4, year = 2010

when x = 5, year = 2011

when x = 6, year = 2012

To find the predicted sales in 2012, x = 6

S = $5000(6) + 80,000

S = $30000 + 80000

S = $110,000

The predicted sales in 2012 = $110,000
