(3,-8) = (x1,y1)

(-6,4)= (x2,y2)

To find the distance we have to apply the next formula:

D=\sqrt[\square]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2^{}}

Replace:

D=\sqrt[\square]{(-6-3)^2+(4-(-8))^2}
D=\sqrt[\square]{(-9)^2+(12)^2}
D=\text{ }\sqrt[]{81+144}
D=\text{ }\sqrt[\square]{225}

D=15
