G is the midpoint of SR, and H is the midpoint of RQ.

GH is parallel to SQ

According to the Midsegment theorem

GH = 1/2 SQ

Replacing:

4x-65 = 1/2 ( 2x-4 )

Solve for x:

4x - 65 = 1/2 (2x) + 1/2 (-4)

4x- 65 = x - 2

Combine like terms:

4x -x = -2+65

3x = 63

x = 63/3

x=21
