Edgar is getting better at math. On his first quiz he scored 57 points, then he scored 61 and 65 on his next two quizzes. If his scores continued to increase at the same rate, what will be his score on his 9th quiz? is this continuous or discrete? what is the explicit equation and variables?

Since the scores increasing by the same value, then it is a discrete

The variable here is n the position of the number in the sequence

The explicit equation is

a_n=a+(n-1)d

a is the first term

a = 57

d is the constant difference between each 2 consecutive terms

d = 4
