In order to find this information, we usually use the solubility curve or solubility graph, to determine how much of a solute will be soluble with the change in temperature in 100 grams of water, if the amount of solute we add is less than that, we have an unsaturated solution, if it is exactly on the line, we have a saturated solution, and if is above the line, we have a supersaturated solution. At 20°C, 40 grams of KCl will be classified as supersaturated, as it is above the solubility line
