To find the scale factor you divide each side of triangle B into corresponding side in triangle A, as follow:


\begin{gathered} (\Delta B)/(\Delta A) \\ \\ (10)/(25)=(2)/(5) \\ \\ (8.6)/(21.5)=(2)/(5) \\ \\ (4)/(10)=(2)/(5) \end{gathered}

Then, the scale factor of figure B to figure A is 2:5 (Each 2units of triangle B correspond to 5 units in triangle A)
