You have a triangle with the measures:

You have the next formula to find the area:


A=(b\cdot h)/(2)

In the tringle you can take the 8 like the base (b) and the blue line as the hight.

Then

b=8

h=7


A=(8\cdot7)/(2)=(56)/(2)=28The area is 28 square meters
