As we can see, both lines have equal slopes and that means that they are parallel

When two lines are parallel, it means that they do not meet

Since they do not meet, more appropriately, it means they do not intersect

Hence, by trying to solve for a point of intersection algebrically, we get a system of linear equation with no solution

Thus, the conclusion is that these two lines solved for their points of intersection, will yield a system of linear equations with no solution
