To evaluate a function, you can substitute x with the value given. So, to evaluate f(15) of the function

f(x)=4(-2)^{(x)/(5)}

We do:

f(15)=4(-2)^{(15)/(5)}=4(-2)^3=4(-8)=-32

Then:

f(15)=-32

To evaluate f(24) we do the same:

f(24)=4(-2)^{(24)/(5)}

The problem here is that 24/5 isn't an integer. So we can stop here.
