The volume of a cone is computed as follows:


V\text{ = }\pi\cdot r^2\cdot(h)/(3)

where r is the radius and h is the height

Replacing with data and solving for r:


\begin{gathered} 1600\text{ = }\pi\cdot r^2\cdot(18)/(3) \\ (1600)/(\pi\cdot6)=r^2 \\ √(84.882)\text{ = r} \\ 9.213\text{ in = r} \end{gathered}
