The y component


W_y=mg\text{ sin}\theta

where mg is the weight of the car i.e. 1150kg

and


\theta=8.7^0

Substituting the known values in the equation we get,


W_y=1150*\sin (8.7^0)=173.95\text{ N}

That is y component of W is 173.95 N
