point (2, -7)

slope = -5/2

straight line equation

y = mx + c

(y - y1) = m(x -x1)

y -(-7) = -5/2(x -2)

y + 7 = -5/2(x -2)

introduce cross multiplication

2(y + 7) = -5(x - 2)

2y + 14 = -5x + 10

re-arranging the equation

2y + 5x = 10 - 14

2y + 5x = -4

from Ax + By = c

A = 2

B= 5

C = -4
