Ok, so

We want to find an equivalent expression to


5(4x+3)-2x

For this, we could distribute the terms inside the bracket and multiply them by 5 as follows:


\begin{gathered} 5(4x+3)-2x\Rightarrow5(4x)+5(3)-2x \\ =20x+15-2x \end{gathered}

Now, sum all the similar terms:


20x+15-2x=18x+15

And the correct answer is A.
