We are given two quadrilaterals ABCD and JKLM which are similar. For similar quadrilaterals, the sides of the quadrilateral are congruent. We use the formula below

(JM)/(AD)=(KL)/(BC)

Where JM=3.2, AD=4, KL=x, BC=7

We then substitute the necessary parameters into the formula above.

\begin{gathered} (3.2)/(4)=(x)/(7) \\ we\text{ crossmultiply} \\ 4x=7*3.2 \\ 4x=22.4 \\ \text{Divide both sides by 4} \\ (4x)/(4)=(22.4)/(4) \\ x=5.6 \end{gathered}

The length of x is

ANSWER: x=5.6
