Given data:

The first coordinate is J(9,-3).

The second coordinate is K(-1,5).

The slope of the line passing through the given points is,

\begin{gathered} m=(5-(-3))/(-1-9) \\ =(8)/(-10) \\ =-0.8 \end{gathered}

The slope of the line LM perpendicular to it is,

\begin{gathered} m^(\prime)* m=-1 \\ m^(\prime)*(-0.8)=-1 \\ m=(1)/(0.8) \\ =(5)/(4) \end{gathered}

Thus, the slope of the LM line is 5/4.
