Algebra 1 Course challenge f(x) = x2 g(x) = (x + 3)2 +5 We can think of g as a translated (shifted) version of f. Complete the description of the transformation. Use nonnegative numbers. To get the function g, shift f up/down by units and to the right/left v by units. Report a problem

To get the function g(x) you shift the function f(x) up by 5 units, and shift it to the left by 3 units.

if we start by shifting f(x) by 5 units up, we would have

\begin{gathered} x^2+5^{} \\ \text{If we shift it by 3 units to the left, } \end{gathered}
