hello I have task were a ball is thrown in a horizontal projectile motion and we are am given the Range of Flight= 1.02 m Time of flight= 1.20 sec and Height of launch= 1 meterI need to help finding- the initial velocity -time of the highest point - and the velocity of ball after impact

R=1.02\text{ m}

* The time of the flight is,


T=1.2\text{ s}

* The height of the launch is,


H=1\text{ m}

Solution:

(a). The initial velocity of the horizontal projectile is,


\begin{gathered} R=uT \\ u=(R)/(T) \end{gathered}

Substituting the known values,


\begin{gathered} u=(1.02)/(1.2) \\ u=0.85ms^(-1) \end{gathered}

Thus, the initial velocity of the projectile is 0.85 meter per second.
