The given equation is

7x+3 = 3x+11

We would subtract 3x from both sides of the equation. We have

7x - 3x + 3 = 3x - 3x + 11

4x + 3 = 11

We would subtract 3 from both sides of the equation. We have

4x + 3 - 3 = 11 - 3

4x = 8

Dividing both sides of the equation by 4, it becomes

4x/4 = 8/4

x = 2
