A mass of 10kg is moving in a circular Path of radius 2m with a uniform speed of 50ms.

Find the centripetal acceleration and the corresponding force

  • Mass=m=10kg
  • Radius=r=2m
  • Speed=v=50m/s

Force:-


\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=(mv^2)/(r)


\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=(10(50)^2)/(2)


\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=5(2500)


\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F_c=12500

Now using Newton's second law


\\ \rm\hookrightarrow A_c=(F_c)/(m)=(12500)/(10)=1250m/s^2
