If both triangles are simmilar then the ratio between the corresponding sides is equal for all pairs:

(AB)/(DE)=(CA)/(DF)=(CB)/(FE)

Comparing two corresponding sides you can determine said ratio:

(AB)/(DE)=(6)/(9)=(2)/(3)

The ratio between the triangles is 2/3

Since the ratio is equal for all corresponding sides, since the perimeter is calculated as the sum of all sides, the ratio between the perimeters of both triangles is the same as the ratio between the corresponding sides.

r=2/3
