The 2 points on the line given are:

\begin{gathered} (a,b_{})=(4,3) \\ \text{and} \\ (c,d)=(2,7) \end{gathered}

The slope formula can be used to find the slope. We can write the slope formula as:

m=(d-b)/(c-a)

Substituting the values, we get the slope of the line:

\begin{gathered} m=(7-3)/(2-4) \\ m=(4)/(-2) \\ m=-2 \end{gathered}
