The formula to calculate the volume of a sphere is:

V=(4)/(3)\pi\cdot r^3

Start by finding the radius using the diameter and dividing it by 2

\begin{gathered} r=(D)/(2) \\ r=(2)/(2) \\ r=1ft \end{gathered}

then, replace the radius in the formula and find the volume

\begin{gathered} V=(4)/(3)\cdot\pi\cdot r^3 \\ V=(4)/(3)\cdot\pi\cdot(1)^3 \\ V=(4\pi)/(3) \end{gathered}
