Given :

The center of dilation = ( 0 , 0 )

And the scale factor = r = 1/3

Given the point :


B=((5)/(4),-(4)/(3))

The rule of dilation is :


(x,y)\rightarrow(rx,ry)

So, the image of B = B'

And the coordinates of B' is :


\begin{gathered} B^(\prime)=((1)/(3)\cdot(5)/(4),(1)/(3)\cdot-(4)/(3)_{} \\ \\ B^(\prime)=((5)/(12),-(4)/(9)) \end{gathered}
