Area =

A\text{ = }(1)/(2)* b* h

where A is the area

b is the base

h is the height

From the figure

A = 39

b =13

substitute the values into the formula and solve for h

39=(1)/(2)*13* h
39=(13h)/(2)

cross multiply

78 = 13h

Divide both-side of the equation by 13

h = 6

The height of the triangle is 6 cm
