Which of the following represents this function written in intercept form? y=-x+x+12 O AY (x+3)(x-4) OB. + (x + 2)(x-6) OC. V = (x+2)(x + 6) O d. y=(-x+3)(x-4)

We have

y=-x^2+x+12

We need to factor the expression above in order to have the intercept form

First we factor by -1

y=-(x^2-x-12)

Then we need two numbers that if we sum then we get -1 and if we multiply then we get -12, two factor the polynomial inside the parentheses

a+b=-1

a*b=-12

these numbers are

-4+3=-1

-4*3=-12

therefore the function written in intercept form is

y=-\mleft(x+3\mright)\mleft(x-4\mright)

Therefore the correct choice is A.
